Not sure why this book is getting 5 stars. It basically is about stories that have very little detail about the events that take place and even less details on the legal process. Basically, I guess these stories do the trick by putting you to sleep. Yawn and a waste of money.

After reading this book I ordered several copies to give to friends. A great read and lots of laughs.
... is you have to pass the entrance exam to live there. Some of those who qualified to get in ended up in this book.

I've been reading David's short stories for years, gathered up while working as a public defender in the foot hills of the Sierras.

They are about people and their foibles and troubles. Each one makes you want to laugh and cry and then laugh again.

This book is a great read.
